ABOUT US

What does 'Worthy' Mean?

The verse that is rooted in our name is “Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.” Revelation 4:11. A lot of people think they are Worthy of God's love but they aren't. Because of our sin separates us from God and we can't save ourselves how our we Worthy? It is through Jesus taking our place, the death we deserve, that makes us Worthy of God's love. HE IS WORTHY and through Him we are worthy.

Our Story

Worthy Athletics started from a rebrand of a previous 'niche' brand that I owned and failed a lot at. I know I had a passion to spread my faith as an athlete on the field, in the gym, and on the track. I wanted to be set apart for what I believed in. This started in 2024 and during this time I was playing Quarterback.

My identity was rooted in football and who I was stemmed from that. Until I had a career ending injury tearing my L4 vertebrae in my back I lost my identity because I lost my sport. During this time Worthy Athletics was about a year old and I truly understood what 'Worthy' meant and where our identity lies, in Jesus. This brand is continuing to grow and change through the designs, fit, and feel but our mission stays the same as time goes on.
